This organization was created to build on great strides made in arts education at DeKalb Elementary School of the Arts from 2000 - 2013. At that time, the arts staff was given a tremendous amount of freedom to create a program that was unmatched. Students were able to truly develop their skills and talents, tour locally, compete, and pursue careers in the arts. In recent years much has changed and the arts magnet programs are hardly different from typical traditional schools. Savage Education Solutions aims to fill the gap with a unique education program: THE SHED. This event will celebrate the accomplishments of the past and simultaneously invest in the future of arts education in the Atlanta metropolitan area. The goal is to raise $100,00.00 for the inaugural year of The Shed Conservatory of Creative Arts and Entrepreneurship. We are planning appearances and performances from DESA alumni who have become performing arts professionals and influencers. We will also be honoring former students, staff, and local arts institutions.
