What is a micro-school?
A micro-school is an independent learning institution free from the bureaucracy, standardized tests, and mandatory curriculum that defines today's public school system. They are small, private institutions where students are empowered to personalize their own educations and are held accountable for their own progress. Adults at micro-schools aren’t necessarily formal “teachers” who stand up in front of the students and talk. Instead, they’re more like coaches, and they use creative following methods to guide students to a better education.
